Richard Montgomery
During the invasion of Canada of the Revolutionary War, Richard Montgomery went to assist Benedict Arnold, combined their forces, and took command of both. Montgomery died in the assault on the city; and although Arnold kept up the siege for a long time, The Quebec campaign ended in frustration.
